Please see pics. Book has some outside wear, discoloring, small spine tear on bottom spine, but no markings. As far as I can tell, these seven stories illustrated by Maurice Sendak were first issued as pamphlets in 1955, and then were collected in this book in 1964.

Stories deal with various situations or conflicts children might encounter and demonstrate ways to deal with them. Includes "On Your Mark," "Jacob's Friendliest Town," "The Crankiest Man on Main Street," "Down the Old Bear Trail," "Johnny Red Feather," "Lonesome Feet," and "The Secret."
